In 2010, filmmaker Camilla Byk, took her family
to Sri Lanka, on a holiday with a difference.
They volunteered to work with street children, 
special needs children and the children of poor
workers in the tea plantations.
The poorest of the poor.
Believed locally to be ‘born bad’.
Hear their story and see the film she made.  

Camilla specialises in documentary footage of
children, and looks at the effect on her family of
taking them out of their comfort zone and
enabling her young children to volunteer and
learn about about very different lives.  
Her beliefs, and desire to see social transformation often influence her work.
